Bilateral relations between Finland and Serbia have been traditionally good. After the hard times and upheavals in Serbia during the 1990's, the relations have become back to normal. There is, however, room for even tighter relations especially in the field of trade and commerce. In addition to building on political and economic relations Finland has tried to support Serbia's transition by allocating her development aid in the best possible way.
